Over winter break, the local public radio station called and asked me to donate some artwork to their annual auction (I donated the year before last, but got busy last year and forgot, so I was happy to hear from them.) I made these two small pieces in marker and cyran d'ache. The flags spell "ME" for Maine (that's kind of my nod to what's going on in my studio work) and the lifesaver is the traditional Coast Guard life saver colors. Now I just have to get over to the offices to deliver them and hope they sell!
