So... I've been out of town and not posting for a few weeks. I'm back now and the posting can began anew! While I was gone, I had the opportunity to look through a few historical archives in search of my family (ok, this may not seem fun to everyone. In one instance, the archivist on duty even asked me why someone who wasn't in their eighties wanted to visit a historical archive). As I was traveling, I started to think about building a family, and a history. I built a few paper structures in my hotel rooms along the way, thinking about them as a kind of metaphor.
